When can I expect to receive my order?
All items are shipped within 2 business days (M-F) after proper payment is received. See terms for proper payments.
Sometimes I ship on Saturday as well but never on Sunday.
If for some reason you have not received a shipping notice from the system I use which is Pay Pal, within 4 to 5 days of your payment, please contact me as ECrater has been known to have system failures or maybe my e-mail system is not working correctly. You can obtain info to contact me on the contact page.
If you request UPS delivery it will take longer than the 2 business day time frame as I have to take the package into town.
If you have your item shipped to your office or business location please do not get upset if they leave a notice for you and it requires longer to receive the item due to this policy. Not all office or business locations have this policy but some do which I have just discovered lately.
Do you use Priority for all items?
If it is a small item it will be First Class or Parcel Post.
Most combined shipping & larger items will be Priority.
ALL will have a Delivery Confirmation or tracking number.
Media mail will be used for qualified items, but please do not ask me to use Media mail for items that do not qualify.
Very large or heavy items will be UPS.
Do you ship any other way other than USPS?
Not unless the item is a very large item, then I will use UPS. The reason for this is I ship from home & do not want to make an unnecessary trip to town.
If you have a special reason for something different please ask & I may be able to fulfill your request.
How does your combined shipping rates work?
For multiple items I always charge the highest shipping rate first & a smaller amount for each additional item. Sometimes there may be no additional charge on each item purchased and this will depend on the items purchased.
If I have to expand the box size there will be some added to the original amount & you will be advised of this amount on your invoice.
I also will use the flat rate boxes if possible to save you money on shipping.
Will you sell an item for a lower price than listed?
Many times I can and will lower the price. Especially if I may have listed something incorrectly. On Boyd items I may have several of the same thing with the only difference being an edition number. Don't be afraid to ask you may catch me in a very generous mood, especially if you want multiple items.
How are items shipped, in a box or envelope?
Most items are shipped in a box.
All will be properly packed to insure a safe delivery.
Bubble envelopes may be used but only when it will result in less cost for you & the item can arrive without any damage.
I realize others send their items without the proper packing so they can reduce the cost of shipping for you but I want your item to arrive without any damage.
Where are your items obtained from?
All items I sell are "in hand" purchased by me in the past for resale. My home is smoke free as well. Items have been stored on shelves in my home & not in a cold or hot building.
Do you remove items from their box for inspection?
Yes I open them all for inspection with the exception of Barbie Dolls prior to shipment unless you wish for them to remain unopened.
All items are shipped with their original boxes as well unless so stated in the listing.
Barbie Dolls are NRFB & will say that in the listing.
Can I obtain a lower shipping rate?
I primarily ship USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation (estimated delivery time 2-3 days), however I would be happy to use an alternative USPS shipping method to save buyer money on shipping or to expedite shipping time.
If you think my shipping is to high please ask if it can be reduced because I may have made a mistake on the size of the required box size for the package & it can be recalculated. You may also live closer to me than what the price is figured for as well.
Does your shipping include a handling fee?
Yes it does & at times you will also get a refund if I have over estimated the amount.
I prefer to use the standard shipping rate instead of the shipping matrix that eCRATER uses for their shipping tool.
Do you use the Flat Rate Boxes?
I will always do what I can to reduce your amount on shipping & handling when you purchase multiple items.
I will also make sure that your item is packed properly at all times so sometimes it may not be possible to use these boxes as they are a certain size.
With new sizes coming on line be sure and ask me if one can be used for your items.
It is not my desire to make money off of shipping, just a small handling charge is all I add and the rest needs to be applied to the shipping and insurance amount.
Do you take your own pictures of your items?
Yes although I do use some stock photo's of a few items.
If an item is NRFB such as a Barbie Doll it is hard to have a picture of the actual item.
I will always be glad to furnish additional pictures of any item that you are interested in purchasing.

What if an item gets damaged in shipment?
Please notify me immediately and keep all wrapping material and the shipping box. I will give you additional information immediately upon receiving your notification of damage.
Barbie Doll Collection?
I have many items in this collection not listed.
All items are NRFB, stored on shelf's in my home, not handled but I still don't like to call them MINT because many collectors want perfect boxes and I don't consider myself to be an expert in this area.
Do you sell to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes, I have just added these two locations to my listings.
I am in the process of updating the amount due for shipping and handling to these areas as well.
If the amount I have is a big over charge I will refund a portion as well.
So don't be afraid to ask about the shipping amount on any item to these areas.
Will you sell to Canada?
The appropriate shipping and handling will have to figured on each item as they are not listed currently as selling areas. .
Payment from Canada must be in the form of a Postal Money Order which can be cashed here in the USA.
I will not fill out the custom form incorrectly, so don't ask.

What if I change my mind and do not want the item after it has been ordered or received?
I will be glad to return your money in full minus the shipping and handling amount after you return the item to me at your cost in the same condition it was when I sold it to you. You will need to make arrangements with me prior to returning the item in order to receive the refund.
If I have not filled the order I will be glad to cancel the order or you may do the same when you use Google Check Out and it will notify me as well.
